KNOWING PERÚ

According to Peru Travel, Peru means nature and is one of the ten greatest biodiversity and natural resources countries. With more than 158 protected natural areas, it has 84 of the 117 life zones around the world. Our country is among the ten favorite destinations for group travel, being the only Latin American county considered in this list. Travelling to Peru is to awaken pending dreams, connect with oneself, and explore five thousand year’s living history.

Imagine yourself at the beach, surfing with the Caballitos de Totora as surfing boards and enjoying the sunset at the oasis in the middle of the dunes or maybe, in the highlands, with the sound of quenas (peruvian flutes) in the air, breathing the pure air of the Andes and contemplate the harmony of the human being with nature in Machu Picchu or maybe, in the jungle where the Amazonas will welcome you with the famous pink dolphins and invites you to break free.

If you want to know in detail about our country, visit PROMPERÚ

AC Tours offers special packages to any of these great destinations.

CUSCO

In Quechua, Cusco means ‘navel of the world’, since it was the capital of the Inca empire and the starting point of an extraordinary network of 23,000 KM of roads and communications of Inca territory. Its unique architecture, in which European styles contrast with the solid and grand Inca foundations, heightens the beauty of a city which harbors a dazzling past and which, despite the strong Spanish influence, still maintains an undeniably Andean atmosphere.
